The Conversational Case: The Simplest Way to Craft Your Keynote's Core Message

You know getting your big idea out into the world means having to make the case for it. You need clients, meeting organizers and audiences to see your idea as the right one for them. But even though you know it’s the right message, how can you make them see that, too? Even more, how do you do that when time —and attention — is short? You script the story they’ll tell themselves. In this interactive session, join change communications expert and 20-year message strategist Tamsen Webster as she shows you how to do just that.

Bio: As a professional "Idea Whisperer," Tamsen helps people find, build, and tell the stories of their ideas. She combined 20 years in brand and message strategy with four years as a TEDx Executive Producer to create The Red Thread®, a simple way to change how people see...and what they do as a result. (Though as she'll tell you, everything she knows about people, speaking, and change, she learned at Weight Watchers). Today, Tamsen is a globe-hopping keynote speaker who consults with enterprise companies like Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, and State Street Bank on how to get their big ideas to have the impact they deserve.

Rewards and Reality: 25 Years as a Certified Speaking Professional

In the gig economy everyone calls themselves an expert, a consultant and a speaker. And few are. Most are derivatives of those of us who know what it means to grind out a living changing people's behavior on our topic of expertise. Being a speaker isn't what you think it is. And being a professional speaker is no easy task. In Roberts closing keynote he will explain the realities of the business of speaking and the rewards that come with its successes.

Bio: Certified Speaking Professional Robert Siciliano CSP, in the 90's appeared on the Montel Williams Show posing as a water company worker, conning his way into unsuspecting homeowners residences. Recently he appeared on Dr. Oz discussing Child Identity Theft, then brought a hacked ATM on the Anderson Cooper show exposing over 1000 credit and debit cards and on CNN he stabbed a melon in the eye to demonstrate rideshare safety. He's written 5 books including a best seller. He's the architect of the CSI Protection certification; a Cyber Social and Identity Protection security awareness training program.
