    What is a StorySLAM?

The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, 5‑minute story on the night’s theme. Sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show.

    Tonight’s Theme

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: Prepare a five-minute story about embracing every aspect of the holiday season. From the chaos of family gatherings, an unexpected reunion, or a kick under the table to keep the peace. To the bustling meal preparations or take-out for one. The humor, the heartbreak, the tension, or nostalgia that connects you to your loved ones. Tell us about a moment that reveals what belonging — or not belonging — looks like. Cozy up and share the highs and lows that accompany the festivities. (Holiday stories from all seasons are welcome!)

Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final. We will not be selling any tickets at the door.

94% of B2B buyers now use AI to build their shortlist (6sense Buyer Experience Report, 2025). A meeting planner reads a version of you before they ever reach your website, and most speakers have never seen what it says.

In this session, NSA CEO Jaime Nolan walks through the five-stage road map for building a speaking business, and you’ll work on your own business while she teaches. You’ll run two short exercises live on your laptop or phone, starting with the search a meeting planner runs on you, and the group will talk through what comes back.

    You’ll leave with:

    • The five-stage road map, so you can see which stage your business is in and what it needs next

    • The AI prompts from the session, yours to keep and run again

    • The three moves to make in the next 30 days

This is for speakers who are getting booked and still can’t figure out why the business isn’t growing.

KEEPING THE FAITH: Prepare a five-minute story about that small, still, inner voice. Tell us about a time when you believed without seeing, threw a Hail Mary pass, or were surprised by a stranger’s kindness. Small miracles, deep rituals, storms weathered, and courses stayed. Were your beliefs sharpened or shaken along the way?

Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final. At least 10 tickets may be available at the door for our US-based StorySLAMs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you want to deliver a good presentation?

    A great presentation?

    Or an Unforgettable Presentation?

The process is different for each.

If you truly want you and your message to be UNFORGETTABLE, wouldn’t it make sense to learn from a coach who knows how?

Trying to be unforgettable without advice from an expert is like trying to assemble a new desk from Ikea without the directions and wondering why you have leftover 3 screws, 2 washers and a bracket!

In 2001 Darren LaCroix was tired of being average on the platform. He entered the speech contest against 35,000 contestants from 14 countries to take his skills to a level. His coach, World Champion Mark Brown, showed him what he had not known after being a presenter for seven years. Mark’s insights were essential to being unforgettable against some of the best speakers in the world. People still talk about Darren’s winning speech two decades later.

Do you have an Unforgettable coach? Join us and sit in the front row to be a sponge from Darren LaCroix.

You’re hired for what you do on stage, but you stay profitable because of what happens backstage. Too many speakers hit a growth ceiling not because they lack talent, but because their "backend" is a mess of manual tasks and "duct-taped" systems.

This session is designed for visionary speakers ready to scale with intention. We will explore the three core growth phases every speaking business experiences and identify the operational priorities needed to move through them without adding unnecessary complexity.

    What You’ll Learn:

    • Invest Wisely: How to choose the right systems, software, and support staff for your specific stage of growth.

    • Operational Alignment: Strategies to align your "backstage" infrastructure with your "on-stage" goals.

    • Exit the Weeds: Practical tools to step out of the daily administrative grind and embody your role as a thought leader.

Whether you are just getting started or are ready to hire your dream support team, you’ll leave with a clear roadmap to build an efficient, effective, and ideal speaking business.
