Ted is a natural coach and mentor. This became evident early in his career in technical positions in the software industry. As Ted gained experience and stepped up to challenges, he was identified as a leader. It was in these leadership positions that he first mentored others towards individual and team success. The tools he provided to team members often made a positive impact on their personal lives as well. In 2001, Ted entered private practice to bring his energy and enthusiasm for mentoring others to a broader audience. Due to his work experience prior to private practice, clients find that Ted has a solid understanding of their goals and frustrations. This applies to both employees and organizational leaders and the challenges they encounter in balancing internal and external, personal and professional relationships. Along with practical experience is a fluid, flexible style that allows Ted to effectively mentor technical and non-technical people at all levels on the matrix on a wide variety of issues. Whether clients participate in a skills-training program or enter into a mentoring/coaching relationship, Ted believes his approach with clients is unique in three ways. First, each client receives an experience customized to their industry, current situation and future goals. Second, he always finds a way to make the challenge of turning dreams into reality a fun experience. Third, Ted builds long-term relationships. Through his leadership and commitment, Ted is a success-building partner, not simply a coaching/training organization. For his corporate clients, Ted has turned troubled teams into cohesive work units, aided new managers in becoming effective leaders and improved communications skills for management and teams. For small business owners, Ted helps business owners cope with time management, expansion and rapid growth pains, employee management issues and industry challenges. For all clients, Ted is able to assist them in screening candidates for promotion or employment through various assessment programs. Ted is also developer of the LEAP (Leadership Excellence Acceleration Process) which is designed to dramatically increase the power of velocity of results-oriented leadership.
