When you log in, you will be taken to your profile page. At other times, click the Your Profile link in the page footer.
To edit your profile or change your photo when you are logged in and on your Profile page, click the little gear icon to the right of your photo, then click Edit Profile.
First, upload your profile photo. Your photo will be displayed at 200 x 200 pixels, framed in a circle (a little larger than an inch on a desktop display). Compose and crop your profile photo accordingly, in any photo editing program, and save the photo in JPG or PNG format in a location on your computer that can be easily found for uploading (such as your desktop, or Pictures folder). You can upload a photo with resolution as high as 1000 x 1000 pixels, but it will be reduced in size by the program.
- Click the camera icon at the top of the page, then Upload photo, then Upload in the pop-up box.
- Navigate to the folder where you saved your photo, select it, and click Open.
- If the photo uploads successfully, it should show in the pop-up with a cropping square. Drag and stretch the square for the best fit. If you don’t like it, click Cancel and try a different photo. When it’s OK, click Apply. Your photo should now show in your profile.
Note – there is a known bug in the membership software that disables searching when you are logged in. After changing your Profile, log out to test searching for yourself and see what the public will see. This bug will be fixed as soon as possible.
