  Suzanne Bates is an executive coach, author, speaker, consultant, and former award-winning television news anchor.  She is author of Speak like a CEO: Secrets to Commanding Attention and Getting Results (McGraw Hill 2005), which became a best seller on amazon.com in 2005. The book has been published in Chinese, Russian and Indonesian.  Her second book, Motivate like a CEO: Communicate Your Strategic Vision and Inspire People to Act! (McGraw Hill 2009) focuses on how leaders can motivate, inspire and align their organizations to drive strategy forward. 

For 20 years, Suzanne was an acclaimed on-air personality with major market television stations WBZ-TV Boston, WCAU-TV Philadelphia and WFLA-TV Tampa-St. Petersburg. She won an AP News Award and was nominated for a Columbia DuPont Award, and, over her career, interviewed thousands of political leaders, CEOs, experts, authors and celebrities. She took the lessons of her years in television and pioneered a unique program of executive coaching in communications for leaders.

Suzanne is the founder of Bates Communications, an executive coaching firm that helps corporate executives communicate with their important audiences, motivate and inspire and drive their business strategies forward.  In addition, she is active in many associations and organizations.  Currently, she is a member of the board of the New England Chapter of the National Speakers Association.  She is a member of the CEO Club of Boston College; the Women’s Presidents Organization, The Boston Club, and is a past president of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus.  She lives in Wellesley, MA.
