New England Meetings Industry Council (NEMIC)
The New England Meetings Industry Council (NEMIC) is an umbrella organization comprised on twelve associations involved in the meeting industry. It was initiated in 1990 by NSA New England in response to NSA’s efforts to organize and enhance the relationship between professional speakers and other members of the speaking industry. NEMIC’s mission is to work to promote cooperation and communication among New England meeting-related organizations by coordinating joint educational opportunities and by promoting the professionalism, credibility and value of the hospitality industry. Representatives of these organizations meet quarterly to increase the growth, awareness, and cohesiveness of the meetings industry in New England.
