About NSA New England

Charlene Shea, CSP Members of NSA New England must also be members in good standing of the National Speakers Association and subscribe to the standards of excellence and ethics established by that organization.

NSA New England informally began in 1984 when Paul Micali, a charter member of NSA, encouraged speakers in New England to meet. The chapter was chartered in 1985 as NESA (the New England Speakers Association) and met mainly as a social club with Mark Campbell as President. In 1986, Charlene Shea, CSP, shared her vision of the group as a successful and active chapter. Through Charlene's vision and action, her dream became a reality and today, NSA New England is one of the largest and most active chapters of the National Speakers Association.
